Silver aluminium flat bar is a clean, simple strip for finishing edges, covering joints and adding a light metal accent to furniture and interiors. This flat bar has a matt silver anodised finish, so it is ready to fit on show straight away, and comes in 1m lengths.
Choose from seven widths. The 10, 15, 20 and 25mm strips are 2mm thick and work well as slim silver flat trim on shelves, cabinets, tiles and panel edges. The 30, 40 and 50mm strips are 3mm thick, giving a wider, sturdier cover strip for worktop joints, flat architrave and larger trim details.
Unlike raw mill finish aluminium, this anodised strip has an even matt silver surface that sits nicely next to stainless steel appliances, chrome or nickel fittings, light wood and grey tones. Easy Installation:
- Measure the area and mark the required length on the strip.
- Cut to size with a fine-tooth hacksaw and lightly file the cut end. Mitre at 45° where two strips meet at a corner.
- Make sure the surface is clean, dry and flat.
- Fix in place with a suitable adhesive, or drill and secure with screws or rivets.
- Handle the visible face with care during fitting to keep the matt finish clean.
