A stair nosing is the trim fitted to the front edge of a step. It defines the step edge, protects the flooring or carpet beneath, and — with an anti-slip surface — makes the staircase safer to use. At MW Profiles we supply stair nosings and stair edge trims across the UK for homes, offices, schools and commercial buildings, including fire-escape routes and high-traffic stairways.
We stock three materials, each suited to a different job:
