This aluminium door threshold strip is a carpet to laminate bar that covers the join where two floors of equal height meet. The grooved anti-slip profile removes the exposed floor edge and gives doorways and room entrances a clean, durable finish, creating a neat transition between carpet and laminate, vinyl, LVT or tile.
Made from anodised aluminium, this door threshold bar is strong, corrosion resistant and hard wearing, so it holds up to daily foot traffic in homes, offices and commercial spaces. The 38mm width covers the joint neatly, and it now comes in silver, gold and champagne - all three finishes available in both 1m and 2m lengths.
Key Features:
- Anodised aluminium door threshold strip: strong, corrosion resistant and long lasting
- Flat threshold bar for floors of equal height and a smooth carpet to laminate transition
- Suitable for carpet, laminate, vinyl, LVT and tile
- Two lengths, 1m and 2m, for standard doorways and wider openings
- Available in silver, gold and champagne to match your interior
- Grooved anti-slip surface for a safe, secure step
- Screw-fix with pre-drilled holes; screws and plugs included
- Can be cut to size with a fine tooth hacksaw

✔️ APPLICATION
This aluminium door threshold strip works as a door bar, threshold bar or saddle strip wherever two floors of equal height meet. It gives a safe, seamless transition, protects floor edges from wear, and can be used as a floor transition strip between rooms or as a threshold at a doorway — including carpet to laminate, carpet to carpet, and carpet to vinyl or lino.
✔️ EASY INSTALLATION
- Measure and cut the aluminium threshold strip to length with a fine tooth hacksaw
- Offer it up centrally over the join and mark through the pre-drilled fixing holes
- Drill the marked positions, then secure in place using the included screws and plugs
✅ Important: make sure the floor surface is clean and dry before installation for maximum hold and stability.
💡 Additional Information:
- Anodised finish helps significantly reduce water ingress and surface corrosion
